Dear Customer
New group identity, new logo, new board of directors, new organization. But Aage Østergaard A/S continues to exist.
”AAO Steel” is the new overall and corporate identity for the Aage Østergaard A/S group – in terms of marketing and sales an internationalization and modernization. For many years the outside world has found it difficult to identify the individual companies as they have all had their own names and logos. The new Corporate Identity, with common name and logo, is meant to contribute to unite the group in the consciousness of the outside world.
AAO Steel is able to provide the best expertise and capacity in Northern Europe within the Sheet Metal Industry and our vision is: ”The AAØ group has to be improved as a significant competitive industrial sub-supplier with World Class performance.
Now and in the years ahead we will bring HR into focus as the employees are our most important resource and we work on a long-term process of change. We want the individual employee to obtain the feeling that it is important and a matter of course to contribute to our strategy which fundamentally is about quality in all our processes.
We work towards an implementation of Full Lean implemented processes. Therefore we are convinced that more internal education which enhances the abilities of our employees will contribute to increased competitiveness. And as a sub-supplier our components can contribute to the strengthening of our customers’ competitiveness. We have given a very high priority to the HR effort in the present process of change. We shall be known as ”Best in Class” company within our area - globally.
Scan Press merges with Aage Østergaard
As from 1st October 2011 Scan Press A/S has ceased being a subsidiary after a merger with Aage Østergaard A/S. The two companies have ”melted together” administratively – and the common identity for both is from now on ”AAO Steel”. The merger is meant to create synergies in production, purchase and IT, and in the administration generally – through common administration. The practical information will be given separately to affected suppliers.
Brdr. Madsen Maskinteknik A/S and EJ Værktøj A/S, both owned 60 %, will continue in the group and will be integrated in the new overall Corporate Identity.
The company is owned by a fund which means that we are able to make long-term planning without regard for a stock market.
Last but not least changes have also been made in the top group management, the Board of Directors, which now consists only of professional businessmen and we are pleased to welcome two new members of the Board of Directors: Managing Director Rolf Ebbesen, Tajco A/S and Managing Director Gert Kristiansen, GK Management. The further members of the Board of Directors are Attorney Poul Erik Andersen and Poul Ulsøe + our board members elected by the employees.
We will attend the Hannover Messe again this year which is hosted in the period 23rd to 27th April and we would be pleased to welcome you at our booth F21 in hall 3.
Best regards
Jørn Krogager
Group Managing Director, CEO
